“The forceful impact threw several passengers and left others trapped against the bus body,” Budiono said. The sudden rollover caused chaos inside the vehicle, leaving many passengers severely injured and unable to escape without assistance. Police and rescue teams reached the crash site approximately 40 minutes after the accident. Emergency responders recovered the bodies of six passengers who died at the scene. Budiono said that another 10 people later died either while being transported to hospitals or during medical treatment.
Eighteen Injured Undergoing Hospital Treatment
Authorities confirmed that 18 injured passengers are currently receiving treatment at two nearby hospitals. Of these, five people remain in critical condition, while 13 others are in serious condition. Doctors continue to monitor their condition closely as families wait for updates.

Television footage showed the yellow bus overturned on its side, surrounded by personnel from the National Search and Rescue Agency, police officers, and residents. Ambulances were seen transporting both the injured and the deceased away from the crash site amid heavy emergency activity.
