The minister explained that the hydrogen-powered train does not require diesel or petrol. Instead, it runs on clean hydrogen fuel cell technology, making it an environmentally friendly transport solution.

He further said that railway modernization has gained significant momentum over the last few years. According to him, Haryana’s railway budget has increased from ₹315 crore to nearly ₹3,500 crore. In addition, railway projects worth around ₹18,000 crore are currently under construction across the state.
