Dubai Commercial Tower Named After Shah Rukh Khan Sold Out for Over ₹5,000 Crore.
A premium one-million sq ft commercial tower in Dubai, named after Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, has sold out completely, generating more than ₹5,000 crore in bookings. The project, called “SHAHRUKHZ by Danube,” reflects both the rising demand for office spaces in Dubai and the star power associated with the actor’s global influence.
Tower Sold Out Amid Massive Demand
The announcement came during a grand event at the Dubai Exhibition Centre on Tuesday. Danube Group Chairman Rizwan Sajan revealed that the tower received overwhelming interest, ultimately bringing in AED 2.1 billion (₹5,000+ crore). Since nearly 7,000 investors and brokers attended the event, the response surpassed expectations.
Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan joined the ceremony, which further energised the crowd. He said it was an honour to have a project of this scale carry his name and added that Dubai always welcomed him with warmth.
A Landmark Project Linked to Shah Rukh Khan
Last month, the Danube Group launched the 55-storey commercial tower in Mumbai. The company aims to complete the project by 2029. Meanwhile, Sajan explained that the tower is expected to become one of Dubai’s most prestigious business landmarks.
He estimated the project cost at around ₹3,500 crore, covering land, construction and other expenses. Since the demand surged immediately, he hinted that more towers may eventually be developed under Shah Rukh Khan’s name.
One of Dubai’s Most Prestigious Business Towers
According to Managing Director Adel Sajan, the company designed the tower after studying more than 100 top commercial properties worldwide. Out of the total one million sq ft, over 9 lakh sq ft will be dedicated to office spaces. Consequently, the project addresses the shortage of Grade A offices in Dubai.
He emphasised that multinational companies continue to look for large office spaces in Dubai, which explains the exceptional response. Additionally, he noted that the demand for both commercial and residential spaces in Dubai should remain strong in the coming years.
Danube Group’s Rise in Real Estate
Danube Properties has now become one of Dubai’s leading private developers. Although the company entered the real estate development sector only in 2014, it has already launched 40 projects, with 18 completed so far. Furthermore, the company expects to record ₹22,000 crore in sales this year, with Indian buyers accounting for nearly 25% of total bookings. Follow for more updates, FM News.
