Her work included modernising secure technology infrastructure and developing generative AI tools for State Department employees worldwide. Her career includes assignments in Cyprus, Algeria, Italy, and Mexico. In Washington, she worked in key divisions such as the Diplomatic Technology Bureau, the Secretary’s Operations Center, the National Foreign Affairs Training Center, the Cyberspace and Digital Policy Bureau, and the Center for Analytics. These roles demonstrate her wide-ranging experience in diplomacy and technology.
Professional Background and Personal Interests
Before joining the Foreign Service, she worked as a contractor supporting the US Navy Submarine Command, Consular Affairs, and the US Agency for International Development. She holds a Chief Information Officer Certification from the National Defense University and a BA in International Relations from American University. She also spent a semester in Udaipur studying rural development through bio-energy initiatives. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and birdwatching with her family.
